Portion of Proceeds to benefit Faithful Friends and Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition
The Date for A Cause Charity Date Auction will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009 7-11 pm at the Deerfield Golf & Country Club located at 507 Thompson Station Road in Newark DE. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition and Faithful Friends, as well the New Castle Jaycees so that we can continue to host events that have a positive impact on the community.
Attendees will have the chance to bid on select local bachelors and bachelorettes for a one time date outing, which will be provided by the New Castle Jaycees. There will also be an opportunity to bid on a career related “date” with select professionals from different fields. Tickets are $25 in advance and include appetizers and an after party with local DJ Amaze the Icon. A cash bar will also be available. There will also be a special VIP Meet and Greet Mixer with all bachelors prior to the auction with champagne and appetizers for a ticket price of $30.
We are seeking donated prize items from local businesses to serve as the date outing for the bachelors and their bidders, at a value to cover expenses for 2 people. In appreciation for your donated item, the New Castle Jaycees will offer you:
One Free admission, including to the VIP Meet and Greet
Discounted admission for a second person at the Jaycees rate of $15
Business name/logo in the program brochure given out at the auction
Business name/logo on the Jaycees website
Table at the auction to give out printed material/information
A letter of appreciation from the New Castle Jaycees
